Dr. James J.S. Johnson
- Details
Dr. James J. Scofield Johnson, by God’s providential grace, works for the Institute for Creation Research (as Associate Professor of Apologetics, Chief Academic Officer, and Special Counsel), although there are times when he would rather be riding a trail horse in Colorado’s Sangre de Cristo Mountains. No stranger to family history research, Jim Johnson earned a post-doctoral certification (CPEE) in paternity establishment, from the Texas Attorney General’s Office, and has served as a paternity establishment official in Texas court proceedings used to change birth certificates. Jim is also credentialed by the Norwegian Society of Texas as a CNHG (Certified in Nordic History & Geography), having served as a Viking history lecturer aboard cruise ships belonging to Norwegian Cruise Lines (visiting Iceland, Scotland, and other Viking shore lands), Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines (visiting Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Russia, and other Viking shore lands), and Orient Lines (visiting Viking shore lands bordering the Baltic Sea, North Sea, English Channel, Atlantic Ocean, and Mediterranean Sea).
