Dr. James J.S. Johnson

Dr. James JohnsonDr. James J. Scofield Johnson, by God’s providential grace, works for the Institute for Creation Research (as Associate Professor of Apologetics, Chief Academic Officer, and Special Counsel), although there are times when he would rather be riding a trail horse in Colorado’s Sangre de Cristo Mountains.  No stranger to family history research, Jim Johnson earned a post-doctoral certification (CPEE) in paternity establishment, from the Texas Attorney General’s Office, and has served as a paternity establishment official in Texas court proceedings used to change birth certificates. Jim is also credentialed by the Norwegian Society of Texas as a CNHG (Certified in Nordic History & Geography), having served as a Viking history lecturer aboard cruise ships belonging to Norwegian Cruise Lines (visiting Iceland, Scotland, and other Viking shore lands), Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines (visiting Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Russia, and other Viking shore lands), and Orient Lines (visiting Viking shore lands bordering the Baltic Sea, North Sea, English Channel, Atlantic Ocean, and Mediterranean Sea). This email address is being protected from spambots. Joe Taylor

Joe TaylorMr. Joe Taylor is the owner and curator of the Mt. Blanco Fossil Museum and associated companies. He was born and raised near Crosbyton at the Mt. Blanco community. As a young man he left the area for art school and a career in commercial illustration and advertising design in New York City and Los Angeles. During this time he volunteered at the La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles, California where the saber tooth cat skull which we reproduce is from. His interest was sparked by the rich local fossil deposits and a desire to find out the truth about fossils. The results of this interest are seen in the museum. Mr. Taylor is one of the nation’s foremost fossil restorationists and his work is sought out by individuals, museums and other institutions in this country and abroad.
